Priority One: Build Workforce Capacity
- Promote awareness and foster inclusive work environments through policies that support the success of all employees and the varying backgrounds and lived experiences of the families we serve.
Priority Two: Disaggregate Data
- Analyze employee and customer metrics across demographics and regions, using dashboards and indicators to track outcomes and improve service delivery for all communities.
Priority Three: Impact Assessment
- Evaluate how proposed decisions may affect different populations to prevent unintended negative consequences.
Priority Four: Policy and Practice Review
- Assess California Child Support Services policies to identify impacts across communities, to ensure our practices are inclusive of and responsive to the needs of all families.

- This council, composed of committed employees of varying lived experiences, promotes fair and equitable workplaces, supports data-driven decisions, and educates staff on principles that ensure fair treatment for all Californians.
Priority Six: Divisional Action Plans
- Each division and office will develop plans to integrate inclusive practices, considering the needs of all communities and contributing to staff and families.
Priority Seven: Customer Advisory Body
- This family advisory body will embed the perspectives of the communities we serve into programmatic decisions and allow California Child Support Services to be more informed about the implications and impact of department policies and practices.
Priority Eight: Engage Marginalized Communities
- Use technology and tailored outreach to include a wide range of voices in decision-making, ensuring our communication strategies reach and engage all communities across the state.
